ROLE OBJECTIVE

Our Environmental Services team is looking to add Maintenance Workers to support the department by carrying the performance of routine, preventative, corrective, and emergency maintenance duties of the different areas of Niagara Ina Grafton Gage Village. Perform minor repairs and general maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment as well as minor carpentry, drywall repairs, and painting are some of the responsibilities of such an important position within our community.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Two (2) to three (3) years minimum general building maintenance and repair experience.
  • Perform minor carpentry, drywall repairs, and painting
  • Perform minor repairs and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment
  • Perform floor and carpet maintenance
  • Complete inspections of equipment and areas of property
  • Receive supplies and deliver to and store in appropriate areas (when required)
  • Knowledge of swimming pool maintenance, (asset).
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team as well as excellent organizational and time management skills.
